Some frequently asked questions about Joining the Order.

1. Why should I join the Order of the Necronomicon: Disciples of Enki?

If you desire to faithfully initiate yourself through the inner workings of the Necronomicon and beyond, and through the Sumerian/Babylonian occult traditions under the tutelage of our master Enki, then you should consider joining.

2. What type of background should I have in general occult practices?

We will consider any person regardless of their previous or even nonexistent background in magick. However, those with little to no knowledge/experience with at least general magickal practices may wait much longer than others to join. If you faithfully wish to explore the ancient traditions and are willing to put in the work to do so than there should exist no problem. In the end, someone with more drive to do great is often better than another who has much experience yet no drive. Though the Necronomicon is often considered Ceremonial in nature, this description is not altogether accurate. While it is true that many rituals entail elaborate ceremony, the book is intended to initiate a priest (or priestess). It is not a mere handbook for magickians, witches, etc. Regardless of what label you have chosen to assign to your own style of magick, that label is only secondary to being a priest or priestess of Enki.

3. I have contacted you, how long until I hear something back?

Ideally you should hear something from us within two weeks, though usually you will hear back from us much sooner. Overall, the decisions we make are not made lightly and thus the process from beginning to end may take some time. However, hearing back from us does not necessarily mean you have been accepted. Before making a decision, we want to get to know you beyond a few emails. There are members of our Order which are currently deployed overseas in the United States military. If they can find the time to keep in contact with us once in a while, so can you. Also, if you are a power hungry fool or mentally unstable you will not be accepted. No exceptions.

4. How old do I have to be to join?

Generally we will only accept those who are at least 18 years of age or older.

5. I live outside of the United States, will this be a problem?

Not at all. Although many of our members live in the U.S. we have members in Croatia, Finland, Germany, etc.
