The sorcery of the Necronomicon is intended to be practiced on a solitary basis. Sorcery of this sort has much to do with transforming the world around you by first transforming your own mind. There can be no group ritual intended for individual spirituality. While the rewards of being a hermit or even mild isolation are undeniable, venturing on a solitary path with no guidance can be a daunting if not impossible task.

Simon has made clear in interviews that the Necronomicon contains blinds to protect the system from abuse. These blinds are not very evident even for the old and wizened initiates of magick, much less the inexperienced. So how do you navigate a field of traps without a lantern to pierce the darkness?

Recognizing these factors, the order was formed. If asked my own personal vision of why the order exists I would reply, “To do the will of Enki.” However, there has been much confusion and misidentification by some persons as to our existence. Therefore, I will attempt to vocalize the answer in the voice of my peers.

“We exist to offer guidance about Gatewalking and beyond to those on a similar spiritual path whom we feel worthy.”

We are non-profit, so there can be no financial motivation. There are no membership dues. No persons will be excluded due to race or gender. However, a similar spiritual creed is mandatory as we are founded in spirituality. This is not a club for power hungry persons without regard for anything but themselves. This is a fellowship of people who wish to progress spiritually and to share their experience with others.

So yes we do teach the rites and practices of the Necronomicon, but only to those who we feel are worthy. You do not have to join the Order to benefit. We have a forum here where you can ask any questions etc. If you are someone interested in Necronomicon but not necessarily as a spiritual path the forum should be all that you need to learn what you desire to know.

The order itself is for people who wish to undergo sorcery of the self, to attain spiritual transformation through Gatewalking and beyond. After perusing the forum you may find instruction on Gatewalking flimsy or nonexistent. This is because we feel that Gatewalking is a powerful Shamanistic experience which should only be taught on a personal basis. We are not in the habit of passing out loaded guns to babies or villains. We take this as seriously as it should be taken.

If you are seeking spiritual transformation through Gatewalking please submit an application. If you just want to have some questions answered in regards to the Necronomicon please use the forum.

There is a rather elaborate process for admittance into the Order. If you have an application pending please be patient. No one is ever accepted without careful consideration. And if you are denied please do not take it personally. You may still use our forums or apply again at a later date. We only accept those that we feel are ready to begin the journey. If you are not at this moment it does not mean that you will not be at some future time and we are very willing and able to help you via other channels.

So in a nutshell: “We are here to do the will of Enki.”
